The IPSF African Pharmaceutical Symposium is the largest convention of pharmacy students and professionals on the continent. From 19th to 28th July this year, Uganda, through the Makerere University Pharmacy Students Association will be hosting the 8th instalment of this event at the Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel in Entebbe. Under the theme, A New Health Era: Pharmacy Practice and the Evolving Epidemiological Landscape, the conference, bringing together students and professionals from all over Africa and beyond, will address the biggest challenges facing our country's and continent's health sector. The pharmacy profession is an integral part of the primary health Care system and so discussing the future of Education and Practice-to foster better workforce development-, The Epidemiological Transition-to prepare for what lies ahead-, and the role of technology in all this is something we should all be apart of.
The Symposium comprises three parts, that is the Leaders In Training(LIT) session from 19th to 21st July,
the Main Symposium from 21st to 26th July and the Post Symposium Your from 26th to 28th July.
